YOUNG MUSLIM ASSOCIAITON was founded in 1964 by a group of Muslim youth based in Nairobi with the aim of responding to the challenges facing the Muslim community particularly its youth at the immediate aftermath of Kenya’s independence (1963).

YOUNG MUSLIM CHILDREN'S HOME (formerly known as GARISSA MUSLIM CHILDREN'S HOME), a project of the Young Muslim Association, is a non profitable orphan care centre established in 1969 in Garissa( Kenya) to cater for the social, religious and educational needs of hundreds of orphans. The centre has continued to provide these vital services steadfastly through out the last 40 years and looks forward to continue with the same in future with your support, InshaAllah.
