WAQF LAUNCH & 40TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS

This event was held on Saturday 8th August 2009 at the Young Muslim Centre Garissa, Kenya.

The chief guest was Hon Muhamad Yusuf Haji(M.P Ijara and Minister for Defense). Other dignitaries included Hon Aden Barre Dualle (M.P and Assistant Minister for Livestock Development), M.A.Mahat (Ambassador of Kenya to Kuwait), Mr.Ole Serian (The Provincial Commissioner North Eastern Province), Mr. Hassan Omar Farah (The Deputy P.C Lower NEP), Mr.Ogango (The Garissa District Commissioner), The Chairman and other executive members of YMA, The Director, staff and students of the Centre, Br Nadhief Jama (CEO First Community Bank), Hon.Hussein M.Mohamed (Former M.P Dujis), Old boys of the Centre, Religious leaders led by Sheikh Mohamed Abdi, Principals and headteachers of schools, business men, civil servants, community elders and women.
