Become A Companion of the Prophet (SAW) in Jannah
The YMA’s longest running and most important project is the Young Muslim Children’s Home. YMCH is an orphanage that was started in 1969 and has grown to its current size under the supervision of its director Shaykh Moti-ur-Rasool and other staff.
YMCH has supported thousands of orphans through its 56 years of operation . A total of 1,900 orphans have gone through the Home and currently, YMCH is the home of 249 orphans who are between the ages of 6 and 17 years, and 107 orphans in various High Schools in Kenya.

Girl Empowerment
- 1000+ Pads Donated
Sisters of YMA, Women Empowerment Initiative under the Young Muslim Association has been donating sanitary towels to girls in schools, as well as engaging with them through talks, games, and puzzles, among other activities. All in efforts to promote women empowerment and menstruation hygiene education.
Tree Planting
- 40 000+ Trees Planted
We have been able to produce fruit, indigenous, and exotic trees in different locations. Within the Young Muslim Children’s Home Center in Garissa, we were able to grow a fruit garden and a little forest. We also managed to cultivate a fruit garden in Namanga, which featured bananas, watermelons, and mangoes, among other things.
